Encapsulate the image HTML within the hyperlink HTML.

<a href="URL"><img src="IMAGE URL" /></a>

Re: PlayStation.com Forums HTML Guide

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the OP to add a new section, 10.3 @Mentions, for the new @Mentions feature of the forums. This particular feature is a lot more fun on the Rich Text side of things, but it does have some HTML components to it that are good to know.

Good job on the update! Smiley Happy

On the update thread I figured out a way to block specific users. I don't think it will hurt to add that in.

I'm rather confused here. You can't block anyone on the forums. You can block them from PMing you, but nothing beyond that. And how does that pertain to HTML?

People were afraid they were going to get spammed by the mentions. I figured out a way to filter emails that you would receive from the mentions of certain users.

I thought it would help for people who see the html tutorial. Seeing how the update thread is no longer sticky.

Oh, I see what you're talking about.

No, I'd rather not add that to this guide since this is dedicated solely to HTML use on the forums. That's something more for a different type of guide/FAQ.

I would just like to know how to "reply with quote." I'm not seeing it in options or in a clickable button anywhere. Do I have to actually copy it and then input HTML tags before and after it somehow?

Thanks in advance.

You didn't really Edit. You replied again. There is an option to Edit in the upper right corner of your posts under the "Options" tab. Smiley Wink
