Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Multiplayer is for posts about competitive and cooperative multiplayer -- anything else goes in General Discussion.
So the next update is going to be 1.05, and I am guessing it'll be coming next week (it will have to in order to set the framework in place for Flashback Map Pack 2).
So, what can we expect from the patch? 1.05 is a name which has lived in infamy on these forums for a long time.
Realistically, I am not expecting any more tweaks to weapons, kickbacks, or gameplay mechanics. So what CAN we expect from this patch? I'm hoping against hope that it will contain some glue that will keep parties from getting split so often, for one thing.
I am really really hoping for:
Now, I know ND are aware that the community cringes whenever anyone says a word about 1.05, so my guess is that they will do one of these 2 things.
1. Do absolutely nothing with this patch besides setting the firmware in place for the new maps.
OR
2. Do so many awesome things that it will finally fix 1.05 in our minds so that it is no longer so hated.
What do you think? What do you expect? Are you hopeful? Are you afraid? Discuss below! What does the new 1.05 have in store for us?
Whatever it is, it wont be enough to save this multiplayer long term.
cool i hope they make a forth legacy and i cant wait to play the new maps

I am really really hoping for:
- Matchmaking fixes - people are still being left behind in the lobby far too often!
- A switch to enable/disable dlc matchmaking
- Various bug fixes including having the game save your settings and glitch fixes in cinema mode
- Some multiplayer trophies! (I know, this may be just me)
- Releasing the 4th legacy + letting us progress to level 100 on it.

I'm honoured that a username i inspired via an insult is still going strong after more than 500 posts! ![]()
As much as I loved 1.04 and hated 1.05, it's really ridiculous that anyone "worries" about the latter in anything more than a joking way.
If Naughty Dog were actually concerned about alleviating peoples' "fears" regarding nothing more than the number of the update, I would be really worried. Because it's completely irrelevant, lol.
I'd like fixes to all the problems right now, the specific TU number doesn't matter (so long as it's sooner, and not later).
Whatever they do now cat really make things much worse. I can't believe the glitch that leaves party members in the lobby hasn't been fixed yet. If 1.05 doesn't include a fix for it, I give up hope that it will ever be tended to.

they should change the G-MAL damage to 7 shots so that you must fire the third burst in order to kill someone. this should balance it out with the FAL
I hope you're joking...
they should fix the treasure drops

Thanks for stopping by, but please don't spout such utter nonsense.
