Ok I was trying to connect my psp to my SDTV with AV cables...well i think they were AV cables :P (Pic Below) And all that comes up is sound but no picture or anythingThen I tryed to switch the output and a message came up saying "Connect AV cable". So i need to know what cables to use or what im doing wrong. Well thanks if you help ![]()
Yup. The video comes out of the TV out port next to the headphone socket. You need to get Sony's composite PSP cable.
This is what it looks like.
Thanks but now i need to get it lol. I went to Wal-mart and gamestop today, but neither of them had it :/ Oh and the other cable i had i can use it for putting it on speakers

Glad you found it. ![]()
One thing to know before you rush out and buy one is that you have to have a PSP-3000 in order to play games on your SDTV using this cable. The 1000 and 2000 will only let you watch UMD movies and videos, since they both need the component cable and an HDTV in order to play games on the big screen.

I feel like such a n00b for returning my set of composite cables. I believed the packaging instead of trusting what I read online from other 3000 owners >.<
Glad to finally get my confirmation, thanks. Sorry for digging up the old topic. You can thank the search feature for that.

Good luck finding this composite cable in stores as I've been trying for a long time but only found component cables which is what I'm using. I've gone to alot of stores trying to find this version as the component cables are only 6 to 8 feet long.
