“The Lab” is open from Friday, September 3, at 10:00 AM PDT (what time is that in my city?) through Tuesday, September 7, at 10:00 AM PDT (what time is that in my city?).
3 vs 3 Deathmatch
Team sizes are limited to only three players, allowing each team ample room to execute new strategies in the selected medium size maps which were not possible with larger team sizes. You’ll have a significant advantage over a less organized opponent if your team manages to stick together as much as possible in this episode of “The Lab.”
The conditions to win a match have also been adjusted for the smaller team size – there is a 20 minute time limit and 25 kills by one team will end the match. We have also disabled boosters for all matches in this playlist.

Just got done playing Zod5000 and a bunch of others with NDog clan tags. It was a regular deathmatch. None of them had negative boosters. I used Rapid Hands and Half Loaded...finished 12-9 mainly using shotgun and sniper rifle. I ran around and didn't camp with the sniper. They had 1 person that camped one of the sniper towers the whole game. We won 50-48 i believe with a bunch of randoms using negatives and 1 person quitting.
This sounds like a fun lab. Can't wait to try it out a little bit.
2 questions for you,
1) why do you always play those maps in EVERY lab episode? i was especially annoyed in the shotguns only
2) why not block off areas on maps when its only a 3 v 3 (not make new maps) e.g if you happen to get into a 3 v 3 game (on normal matchmaking) say, on the museum, put a wall/ door blocking the entrances to the museam so players cant get inside it, thus making the map smaller, or if it was the facility, block off access to the upstairs so players are force to stay downstairs.
Also lower spawn time. other than that, nice job
I've only played one 3 vs. 3 match so far. At the start of the match one person on the other team quit, then one person our team quit. So it quickly became a 2 vs. 2. My team lost, though.
I finished 13-13, the other guy on my team finished 2 - 10.
There was a lot less camping than I had expected. Well, that other guy on my team camped almost the entire time, but me and the two on the other team didn't. It was in the Sanctuary, so everyone was holding on to their shotguns and pistoles.
Not sure about this map selection. Sanctuary 3v3 sounds pretty horrible.

Nice game AverageMike123. We did ok (I know I did somewhat bleh) but we probably should have played some warm up games first.
Good game Zod. You had a couple pretty good players on your team. I got a couple pretty nice sniper shots in running around. I was shooting at you in the grenade room and your teamate ran right in front of you and took a sniper shot to the head. I then tossed a grenade and ran in the room. You vanished into thin air i guess

I love this mode, it provides great teamplay and its thrilling till the end, please keep it alive somehow!
Great gamemode, you actually have to play as a team to win (unless you are some sort of über-pro) . Also forces you to act tactically and trick your enemy.
Would be nice if this mode stays..
