if i sprint well the sensor jammer protect me?
if i shoot does it jam the radar to?
Now when you say "passive gear item and only needs to remain in your loadout inventory to work . It can't be turned on or off." Do you mean as long as you purchase the item you don't have to equip it in your in-game loadout to work or you must equip it in your in-game loadout to work ?
Just wondering, when you say the explosive detectors detect charges, do you mean charges on objectives?
"The sensor jammer will gain the additional ability to affect the Motion Sensor device in a future patch."
Major props to Zipper for realizing this item was worthless and the Motion Sensor had no effective counter-balance. Great change.
Ok first what does: "Sensor Sweep - Shows enemies near operational equipment and assets like Bunkers and AAA," actually do? I have used this and nothing has showed up on my minimap, platoon leader map, or the HUD, even when I launch it on my bunker. I don't know, I'm confused.... Waste of a skill if you ask me, even the gas... Defending platoon leader is kind of boring...
Now as for the blog discussion, is there ANY possible to shut off the motion sensor's beep when you are dead? Or does that mean that when I am dead, the sensor is still on, and it can actually help my teammates?
Yes, that is a funny side effect that many do not take advantage of. You still get beep updates for enemies where your "body" was even though you are gone and respawning. You can utilize this if you are working with your squad.
Mr. Dunham, you stated that the improved stealth fools the motion sensor, how so?
I am a bit confused, moving is moving right? Shouldn't the motion sensor pick up any kind of movement?
Stealth is a form of sound like the suppressor right? So when an enemy is running you hear them and displays on the mini map correct?
And the improved stealth is so that you can run and not be detected (except sprinting)
In my opinion, its like having the Acoustic Locater not being able to pick up on a gun that has a suppressor, although it does as you stated in the electronics thread, unless i misread.
The motion sensor does cost 800cc which is alot of space.
I think it should pick up any kind of movement, including crouched movement, but excluded prone/crawling movement

It must be in your loadout to work.
What does the tidbit about the size of the different explosive detectors mean? Is there any IG effect of this?

It needs to be in the loadout that you are currently playing with. However, it's a passive item, so you do NOT have to bring it up to use it, like you would with say a pistol, or 'nade, it's always working. (when you have it on, its seriously noticable the differenace in what you detect.)
Does the Sensor Jammer keep you from showing up on a enemy's mini-map if you are sprinting? The enemy does not have a Motion Detector.
WOW, there motion sensor's can negate my sensor jammer, really... really, what the hell zipper, I waste my skill points on something that doesn't work. now I know why I get found all the time, cause you gave us a piece of junk, and the motion sensor doesn't work either huh?, I might just leave mag now cause I've been wondering why I'm NOT cloaked when I have the sensor jammer equipped and guys walk right up to my hiding spots, or how come guys keep sneaking up on me when I'm using the motion sensor. I'm really ****** now I know about this but at least I know why this crap doesn't help, cause its designed "NOT TO" I'm not recommending this game to anybody anymore, bite-me zippy (er).
