PS3--Infamous game save problem

5 replies 755 views Edited Jun 17, 2010

I just bought the game a couple hours ago, and I love it. However, I've been having problems loading saved games. For example, I'm on level 3, which is "The Escape," and I just finished crossing the bridge and talking with the female FBI agent. Thereafter, the cutscene ends and you're told to go back into the city via underneath the bridge. So, I saved the game expecting that I'd be able to pick up where I had left off--underneath the bridge. Unfortunately, whenever I load my saved games I start back at the beginning of their respective levels. I've tried saving multiple times and I keep experiencing the same problem. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks y'all!

Nothing's wrong, it's just that this game doesn't include save points within the missions since all of them only take around 10-15 max to complete.

Good and logical reply BUT then why give us a game save ability at all if it doesn't work? It just causes a lot of frustration.

It does save @ your last started mission...imagine if you had no ability to save and had to start at the beginning every time......oh that brought me back to gaming in the 80's :smileyvery-happy:

In some mission you can't save, but the option is disabled at those moments. Maybe is an early glitch?
