Infamous 2 good finish - the lightning revives Cole, and he travels back in time to prevent John from becoming the Beast

 

Infamous 2 evil finish - Cole becomes Kessler and travels back in time to ensure he gets his powers.

And as for the second event - maybe Kessler could be refering to the insident were Cole detonated the raysphere (Kessler intended to have him activate it to become stronger)
