I know it happens to a lot of people, but it has happened to me almost everytime I do a quest online especially during the afternoons and evenings (12pm-8pm, central time U.S.). I can finish 1 or 2 quests if lucky then dc'd again. It is extremely irritating since i am trying to level up and gr up. My internet connection is the Mac Airport Extreme. My connection is excellent/ My problem lies solely with Geonet. Can anyone help, or I am screwed on this 1? Also, if you play wkc, anyone know if D3P or Sony can fix this issue?

I've been playing WKC2 for about 20+ hours since Friday afternoon non-stop - the servers have not been giving any issues throughout the entire weekend so far as I've seen.
If you are experiencing disconnects, it is possible that your PS3's networking/DMZ stuff is not correctly configured, or too many people are joining/leaving the room or party (assuming WKC2 has not fixed it - WKC1 used to glitch up and boot the slower connection off of Geonet if you tried to join something the EXACT moment someone else did).
I have a Motorola SB6120 (DOCSIS 3.0) and ASUS RT-N56U wireless router channeling Comcast's mid-level broadband service through gigabit ethernet cables - the PS3 is on the router's DMZ slot & setup to use 1Gbit ethernet speeds from the system menu. I have not gotten a single disconnect from Geonet via the fault of D3P or Sony.
Even using wireless to supply your PS3 with internet service could be causing your problems - the quality of your equipment greatly affects the quality of your service. My last router ran everything but Final Fantasy XI perfectly (it would randomly disconnect me from the game). I've never had a single issue since upgrading all of my stuff properly. The Airport Extreme seems like it should be fine on paper, but it might handle packets in such a way that Geonet randomly stops working - routers can sometimes be very picky with letting some games work online.
