Japan got a patch that added dozens of quests, hundreds of items and increased the level cap.
Its all on the disc, but for whatever reason, the U.S. isnt getting any of it.

Re: PSN-WKC question

Thats crazy, I didn't know that. So much work was put in, why not slap a pricetag on that. There is a rich following that would buy it, couldn't be that much work to give it to us, even if its dlc and not a patch.

Re: PSN-WKC question

Ive heard everything for the developer hates Americans to class action lawsuits, etc., etc. (the Americans part is a joke, dont go off on a rant)
Its all laughable and silly. The content is on the disc, the Asian market has it, yet the developer just gave up supporting the game here in the States.
Players will probably never know why.

Re: PSN-WKC question

Thanks to Phil Fish and all the other american game developers. The sales here are horrible for JRPGs too. They're our voice that JP devs hear, and when they **bleep** and moan and cry foul that JRPGs suck, there's no reason they want to support us.

Look at Operation Rainfall. 3 excellent JRPGs, and Wii exclusives. There are giant red flags waved all over that one. Nintendo said **bleep** Americans, they don't want these games, they're not getting it. Operation Rainfall was successful though, and I'm happy I have 2/3 of those games that did make it here. Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story are amazing games that break away from the turn based mold. Xenoblade Chronicles in particular felt refreshingly new, while giving me the creepy feeling that FFVII was going to be epic.
