On 06/18/2013, Sony Computer Entertainment America will terminate the online service for the PlayStation®3 software title: White Knight Chronicles.

Wow i havnt played WKC 2 in a long time, but how are ppl supposed to get any trophies if they cant play online.  That whole game is built around online play.

At least should be a patch to emulate some part of the online options, even if the IA is dumb

Quick question:

The corresponding tweet for this announcement included White Knight Chronicles II but here you say the servers are going offline just for first game. Since D3Publisher published WKC II in North America and not SCEA, does this announcement cover just the first game?

is this the servers for both games or just the first.

If its both games being traded in its a waste of time without online

Super huge bummer. I haven't played the game online in ages, but it's been for lack of time, rather than lack of desire. Please tell us that this doesn't affect WKC2, at least?

So, is there any chance that the server software could be released to the community to run? I'm a trained network administrator and am more than willing to sign any NDA or paperwork necessary to obtain the server software and keep the game alive.

Another game i never even started b4 the servers were shutdown, they should atleast patch out the online trophies so we can still get the platinum. Nobody wants to start a game with an impossible trophy list.
