weird i wrote ND a thank you email to them saying how they should bring the story to the Philippines since the freaking islands was shown in the journal so many times. Makes sense to just go from where 2 left off to the place right next to it.
as for the one for Europe, no offense but I think ND wants Uncharted in these locations where forest and exotic stuff is at because of it's scenery. If they do this won't they be following Assasin Creed 2 which is in Italy. I'm not saying this because I'm Filipino but because it would just be very off if Uncharted is set in a city scape. After all it is called UNCHARTED so it makes sense for him to go to a rain foresty exotic place instead of brick and mortar places. Drake and Drake Jr. can go to Europe as a start off point and then Philippines or something. Also if they do this whole Europe thing I would feel like its a National Book of Treasure movie or something, too modern.
Almost half of Uncharted 2 takes place in a large city. An entire chapter is you climbing a bombed out hotel. Not to mention the chapter on the train.
No more Asia please. Europe for once would be nice.
Ditto. I'm thinking something with medieval roots in England and France would be cool or maybe some sort of spin on Romania/Eastern Europe and the whole Vlad thing. A Viking theme also has huge possibilities.
I like the Romania idea. With Vlad. I was actually thinking Russia myself. Greece and Rome would be pretty cool, too. (Possibly Atlantis, but maybe not, that's been done already). But something related to Alexander the Great would be pretty neat.
Australia? Aborigines and the Outback...could be something!
Does the story have to be based on a real myth? I have been thinking about one taking place in the United States.
theres no such thing as a "real myth". its either real or a myth. Thor is a myth; Obama is real. Yama**bleep**as Gold/treasure does exist. some of it has been recovered and gave a few filipinos unimaginary wealth.
