I borrowed Uncharted from a friend, and my thoughts were that this game was going to be great. Well, it was awsome, untill the ZOMBIES. I thought naughtydog was making a realistic game, the zombies just ruined this game. Like this game went all far cry on me and well it so stupid now. I HOPE that naughty dog dosent do anything stupid with the next uncharted and add like vampires or werewolves or sumthin. Seriously, zombies was such a stupid idea.
EDIT: Ok well this game isn't really pathetic, i just thought putting zombies in the game was a HORRIBLE idea.Message Edited by kav3-_-maN on 02-28-2009 12:03 AMMessage Edited by kav3-_-maN on 02-28-2009 12:10 AM
The game designers/developers in an interview discussed at length what their vision for this game was. They didn't want it to be super realistic, and they weren't looking for it to be purely fantasy. They would like to believe that they achieved a mid point between realism and science-explained fantasy.
You can find interviews and other videos here: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/2654.html and here: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/10562.html
The game is anything but pathetic. The devs spent thousands of hours working on all the fine little details, from the graphics to the sound effects, the musical score, the story-telling. Everything about this game is top-notch, and NOTHING about this game is pathetic.

Pretty arguable. Its your oppinion if you think the game is pathetic or not. I just found the zombie stuff pathetic because i thought they were trying to set off a realistic STORY (not game, sorry i meant game in my original post).

Threads like this never fails to amuse me, because both Uncharted and Far Cry1 have perfectly clear reasons for why the creatures are there.
but people need to be spoon fed to every detail, so let's go:
SPOILERS
Don't want to sound more arrogant but i guess it's too late, hopefully people here are cultured enough to know there's a myth about aliens that visited the Aztec and Mayan civilizations, no need to be a scholar to know that.

Realisitic? So searching for treasure that doesn't exist is realistic?
Because no one ever has or ever will do such things.
And they're not zombies...
Which means what, exactly? That they're just incredibly similar to zombies?
