I realize that I'm being shallow just like the people that wouldn't buy the first game, because it didn't have multiplayer. I have no faith in Naughty Dog. Now that there is going to be multiplayer I'm sure the singleplayer will be shorter than the first game's because of it. There will probably be online trophies, so even I did get the game I would have to force myself through the online portion if I wanted the trophies. I don't know yet. I really love the first game, but from my experience I'm 100 percent certain that the singleplayer will be ruined, because of not enough attention being payed to it. I'm weighing the options on whether or not I will trade in the first game and not worry about the sequels.
If you really love the first game, you should at least give the second one a chance.
I too am uncertain about Uncharted 2 having multiplayer but I am going to at least give it a shot. I do not think that the devs will overlook the singleplayer part of the game simply because it was what made the first game so great. Also for someone like me who does not play alot of online mulitplayer, the trophy situation will be a pain if they have outrageous things that have to be done to earn them online, but I am willing to try. If nothing else you can wait for the reviews or rent it when it becomes available to see if you really like it or hate it.
I am sure the addition of MP will bring much more new gamers to the Uncharted series,
so losing some noobs who think the SP will suck because of the MP to the franchise won't hurt this game a bit.
you won't be missed...
Don't give up on him. He can still be savedMessage Edited by Andy-McK-4ever on 04-27-2009 11:25 AM
why save him when we got many new gamers coming to Uncharted 2.
I too am dissapointed about online in Uncharted, but it might be interesting with the climbing aspect of it.
If they are still able to make the campaign AS good as in the first (I can't expect better any more) I will still be happy.
