Weapon Stats: A Mathematical Breakdown

By measuring the stat bars displayed on the in-game weapon menu screens I was able to come up with numerical values for all of the weapon stats. I started doing this for myself but decided to share. This helps for comparing weapons and for putting hat stats into perspective. I've noted weapon changes from patches below each. Let me know if I've missed anything or if something doesn't look right.

 

Note: I can confirm that the in-game stat bars have not changed to reflect the M9 blindfire and ROF,  the AK-47 accuracy change or the tau sniper rof change. I HAVE reflected these changes.

 

M9 Base Stats                              Mod

 

Accuracy---------------55%             N/A

Rate of Fire-------------70%           +5%**

Clip Size-----------------50%           +15%

Reload Speed---------40%            +20%       

Blindfire Accuracy---50%*          +15%

Max Ammo-------------70%           +10%

 

*Blindfire Accuracy was reduced by 10% in patch 1.13 (From 60 to 50)

**ROF mod was reduced 'slighty' in patch 1.14 (I suspect from 7 to 5)

 

AK-47 Base Stats                         Mod

 

Accuracy---------------70%*          +10%

Rate of Fire-------------55%             N/A

Clip Size-----------------50%           +25%

Reload Speed---------40%            +20%       

Blindfire Accuracy---50%           +10%

Max Ammo-------------80%           +10%

 

*Accuracy increased by 10% in patch 1.08/1.09 (From 60 to 70)

 

G-MAL Base Stats                       Mod

 

Accuracy---------------75%            +10%

Rate of Fire-------------40%             N/A

Clip Size-----------------55%           +15%

Reload Speed---------40%            +20%       

Blindfire Accuracy---25%*          +10%

Max Ammo-------------70%           +10%

 

*Stopping power reduced by 50% in patch 1.08/1.09 (Doesn't effect the above stats)

**Recoil increased in patch 1.13 (Doesn't effect the above stats)

Seems quite accurate to me, it also shows off how the M9 is being overused, since compared to the other guns, it doesn't completely suck in any field.

 

Any chance you could do the pistols? Would be interesting to see the power weapons for laughs but seems difficult to get those readings lol.

Fixed. Smiley Wink AK goes from 30 shots to 45 (50%) and shows it like that in the stat bar too. Great job though.

It would be fantastic to have the mod stats for the Tau Sniper.

Great work here. The M9 is painfully overused. Played five matches of TDM yesterday, and EVERYONE used some variant of the M9. Can't believe DICE can balance 50+ weapons in Battlefield 3 but ND can't balance 6.
-I'd be more apathetic if I wasn't so lethargic.
