Has anyone else noticed that the teams in Uncharted 3 multiplayer can be extremely unfair? Sometimes I will see all third legacy rank 75's with a 2.50 kill death ratio on one team, while on the other team is a bunch of non-legacy rank 20's with a 0.50 kill death ratio. I think this is very unfair and when this happens it is obvious who will win.
I am stuck in the middle as a pretty good player with a 0.87 kill death ratio (would've been higher if I knew how to play at the beginning) and around 6600 kills. I am second legacy and sometimes I do good and sometimes bad. But I always get stuck on the bad team of noobs, while the other team is all pro players.
I think if the teams were fair, then it would improve the overall consistency of all lower ranked players. Even being an experienced Uncharted 3 player, I still have trouble standing up to higher ranked players with kill death ratios over 2.00.
Sometimes I run into a party of five players that are all third legacy level 75, and they will totally own the other team. I think the maximum party size should be three for team based games, or at least if it's a five man party, split the party up; put three players from the party on one team and two on the other.
Or, Naughty Dog should make it so that you get matched up with players around your own rank and kill death ratio. Not exact, but close where the teams are fair and every player can be consistent. Although this may make it take more time to find a game, it will be a more enjoyable experience for all players.
What do you think?
I know it sounds selfish but...
I kinda prefer that unbalance. those 75's vs 75's matches are horrible and just ends up with two teams camping like mad trying to control an area. I don't find it fun.
I appreaciate legit lower level players because they run around a lot and explore maps. It's more fun for everyone involved I think like that. I just don't find that high level desperado gameplay any fun at all.
So basically what I'm saying is if every match was level based I'd be using a different account to play the way I want to or I wouldn't be playing at all.
Yeah, it happens to me a lot. I know it's kind of unfair. I even feel bad for the smaller levels that are getting slaughtered. But if I get into a match mid-game and when I see that the other team is winning 20-2 because they are max levels and my team small levels, I just leave the game. It would have been a loss anyway and to be honest I don't really care about my stats. Most of the time stats don't prove everything. Besides the stats are kind of broken in this game so yeah leaving is the best solution to me.
On the other hand, if the teams are not perfectly balanced (3 max levels in the other team and one in my team) then I'd give the match a try for challenge. It can be fun too...
