Alot of people complain about blind fire but I don't think it is entirely over powered on it's own as I believe skilled aim will win against blindfire 90% of the time. What truly makes it a cheap tactic is blindfiring in combination with the 'Whack and Roll' technique. One question I always ask myself is whether or not the 'Whack and Roll' technique was an intended game mechanic or if its really an exploit/glitch of sorts?
I propose that they simpley make it so a roll does not cancel the punch animation. I think that a missed punch SHOULD leave you temporarly vulnerable which would cause people to not go around punching so recklessly and without consequence.

Right now? After one year and a **bleep** load of patches? I don't see it happening.
Besides, that'd be another reason for people to complain.
I'm sorry, but no. If you wanna see how UC plays without W&R, then play UC2. You have ZERO defense from Blindefire.
The only people who complain about it are:
Those who can't do it.
Those that complain about everything.
EDIT: Also, I doubt ND is going to fix it if they put a video about it on UCTV.
It was sort of an exploit. The clan OMG! was using it. At patch 1.13 it was put into tips. I'm not sure if it is entirely an exploit, given the fact the rolls real name is evade.
Its not really an exploit since ND put it the game on purpose. A real exploit was the jumping shotgun auto aim blindfire.
I believe it is a glitch. However it became a tactic pro players used to make them more godly. Rolling either at the same time or after a punch is something even some noobs do. wack and roll is a disadvantage to noobs who just stand and punch. Wack and Roll has been a normal tactic for nearly all players for a long time. Therefore you should just do it as well, if it is killing you then why not just do the same to kill others?
Watch 1:15 onwards. Seriously guys, it was intended from the very beginning.
No, what was intended was for the melee animation to be completed first and then you could roll. What's being complained about is that you can roll before the melee animation is even complete! The roll completely interrupts the endlag of the melee animation when you've hit someone, which is what makes it so potent and so godlike when lag is present.
Is ND going to fix it? No. It's animation related. They've refused to change anything or fix anything related to animations because of how much work it would probably be to get their animators on it to fix it. Deal with it and hope ND gets it right in UC4, where you can't interrupt the endlag, forcing you to wait until the endlag had completed.
