HA! If you think Blindfire is the only thing left that needs fixing in this game then you're just as bad as ND thinking UC3 is the go to MP game on the PS3
and what would your go to game be for muiltplayer?
What a wasteland it's become
Yes the F2P was the big news, patch 1.17 what we got yesterday is the Huge update with the long list that we needed reading glasses for lol.
@Mat - they stated in the last Q & A map packs would be getting discounted they didn't state when since ND is allergic to giving straight answers, you think they would atleast have given out The Map Packs for free this week as a thank You Gesture but instead of a sh!tty Dog paw icon & useless shirt no one will use.
I thought they were already free
This is simply a ploy to get ppl to buy the GOTY edition (which includes all DLC) for 39.99$. Ppl will play the free multiplayer and if they like it they will buy that most of the time. That being said, it's almost necessary to separate the DLC into separate items because of the massive size (uc2 is a ridiculous 20 GBs). Which given my sub-par wireless connection would take me 2 days to DL. If there are any poor saps who get strung along by ND they will end up paying around 85$ for everythin.. oh wait thats how much i payed.
I'm pretty curious about the price of the goty version on the psn store. It has to be very cheap to compete with current EU internet shop prices. For instance Play.com currently sells the goty edition for €19,14 and Zavvi.com for €25. I don't think that a downloadable version with a much steeper price (and that will take away an enormous amount of hard drive space) will be interesting for any new consumer with half a brain.
1) They don't want to undercut retailers' profits.
2) You have to take into account gamesharing as well, so for "some" people it will be half the price.
3) A downloadable version is always better for your Blu-Ray lens longevity. Repairing that alone can cost you up to €80-100.
