The UNCHARTED Caption Contest needs to be kept on a regular schedule. This cannot be done if we always need to wait for the winner to post an image. That is pretty much the gist of it although I might argue that the winner receives a much better “reward” these days.
I like I-Like-Pie45's idea. But if you have problems with winners not sending an image in time you have to be clear that they sent their image withing 24(or 48) hours after winning.

The UNCHARTED Caption Contest used to run like that and the instructions for winners regarding UNCHARTED image submissions were made very clear. Under a regular schedule (and it needs to be a regular schedule now) this approach would have given people significantly less time to submit their captions or vote in a poll. The changes that were made to this contest were made for good reasons.

You can create a caption for Week 14. Read your private message from me when you get the chance. Since you won the UNCHARTED Caption Contest for Week 13 you can send me an UNCHARTED image (via private message) and I will consider it for use in a future caption contest. I can never guarantee that it will be used in the next caption contest (i.e., Week 15) but I will file it away and try to use it later.
