clarification on G-MAL aim assist change on patch 1.13

42 replies 929 views Edited Aug 8, 2012

The aim assist was tweaked for less "stickiness" in close to medium range. This applies to both L1 and scoped-in (L3/R3) mode. This change also applies to the FAL.

Sorry that this was not communicated clearly in the blog updates about Patch 1.13, we dropped the ball guys and gals. Our bad.

I knew it! Thanks for the clarification, this is why I suck with the G-MAL now. I'll try to get used to it.

We are always actively monitoring community feedback and looking at where things stand. That said, making another change in weapon balance coming so soon on the heels of this patch is not very likely, but we will continue gathering data to see how the gameplay trends in the coming weeks and months.

There was no change for either of those weapons or any others. This affects G-Mal and FAL only.

Really? Those 2 weapons seemed like they needed this AA change the most, since the "sticking" completely throws off their aim at times. Smiley Indifferent
