Why is the Hammer such a laggy weapon?

14 replies 322 views Edited Jan 13, 2013
Seriously, it's like every time I get killed by a Hammer I die from the first shot, and then as my dead body is going down the second shot hits.

Also, I hate when I'm using the Hammer and I tap R1 once and it fires two shots.

So what gives? It seems like an issue with projectile ballistics, but the RPG never seems to have any lag issues.

Well the M32 is fully auto, so it can fire off two shot if you hold the trigger just a little too long. I've thought about starting a support thread to make the M32 semi auto.

Could ND even do that?

Yes! I can't seem to fire just one shot. I end up wasting a shell on a guy or just don't realize 2 came out before the 3rd is on its way. I still fight for the hammer but I'm not sure why.

Make it semi auto.

First we have to convince ND to fix blindfire, then we can work on the power weapons Smiley Wink

**Dramatic, as-a-matter-of-fact voice** OH, they could do it. **end dramatic voice** Only they'd end up making it bolt action, with a one shell clip that you have to reload for each shot. With a decrease in ammo from four to three.
