Ive been having problems with my PS3 60gb, the game seems to crash my ps3 (it turns off suddenly) from time to time. Yesterday happened 2 times.
I was thinking my ps3 got a hardware issue but it only happens in U3.
Could someone tell me if im alone in this? If im not alone ND please take note of this issue i have already pre-ordered the game. I don't want to be left in the cold with this issue.
Nope, only in this game i played for 3 to four hours deus ex yesterday nothing, started the u3 beta played a few matches and crashed, same on sunday. It always happens in this game im pretty sure its the game.
Emmm, why every other game this year doesnt make my console crash? You mean to tell me that this is the only game pushing the old hardware? If im posting this is cos Deus Ex, La Noire, Dead Space 2, Mortal Kombat, Mass Effect 2, Portal 2 are not making my ps3 crash.

So, you're saying, developers are now making games designed for SOME PS3 models?. They're making games while thinking "Well, 40gb and 60gb don't exist anymore cuz they probably all YLOD'd by now". So basically we have to buy a new Ps3 to be able to play Uncharted 3.

It's a complicated issue and it has to do with lead-free soldering (old chips overheat and the lead-free soldering doesn't help).

It's an issue which is plaguing the entire electronics industry... nVidia had failing Geforce 8xxx mobile GPUs a few years ago.
Dude youre still not reading my post, its not happening anywhere else, in other words just in uncharted 3, like in just one game... YLOD do not target just one game it targets the ps3 in general, i couldnt play any game for more than 2 or 3 hours cos it would simply crash at some point.
That why im posting here cos i know what YLOD is, and thats not YLOD.
