I want your opinion on whether you want a dedicated mod that only watches this section.
Or at least a weekend mod that watches over here on the weekends.
I think we need a mod here to watch over the forums on the weekends, so that what happened this weekend will NEVER happen again.
* Note the the mods: can you take shifts on the weekends? Someone watches on Saturday, someone watches Sunday?
If no one ever replied to those threads, it would have died out much quicker. However a 'dedicated mod' (so only one) who solely watches this section would probably never work (they could never be on 24/7, 7 days a week.) So I would rather have weekend mods (more than one) to regulate the threads across many sections of the PlayStation Community Forums.

I'm all in support for a dedicated mod. The quality of the forums lately is why I barely post here. Which is a shame, because UC is one of my favorite game series.

Another solution:
Accounts cannot post for 1-3 months after registration so that trolls would have to wait longer to post.
I'm sorry, but as much as this is effective for trolls, this is also a terrible idea for everyone else and newcomers.

Mmm, that's not necessarily a good idea.
I think forumers that have posted a substantial amount of "good" content and posts could have more "abilities" than lesser "known" members.
At 1,000 posts you can "flag" posts.
At 2,000 posts you can "warn" users.
At 3,000 posts you can "set up a poll to lock a thread."
At 4,000 posts you can "set up a ban for a user."
At 5,000 posts you can "lock a thread."
At 10,000 posts you can "ban an user for set amount of time."

I also agree that this wouldn't be a good idea due to newcomers and such.

That wouldn't work either. Just look at certain posters who have 3000+ post from replying to every single thread,
