I know after the medal increase and less kickback duration nerf there is still complaints about this booster. If quickboom took half the damage of a normal grenade and increased the duration back to 20 seconds I wouldn't have a problem with this kickback anymore. How it would work is that it would take 2 grenades to kill a person OR you can knock down a person with your grenade and finish him off with your weapon (similar to how a hammer works).
Now with this in mind the only way to counter this is if you have the teamsafe booster so you no longer get downed from quickboom grenades which is fair. So quickboom is no longer a 1 hit kill and there are methods to counter it.
This would turn quickboom into more of a defensive kickback instead of an offensive cheap tactic.

Quickboom should have never been an instantly exploding grenade. If I am correct "Quick"boom should mean that the timer is extremely fast and chances of throwing it back also extremely slim. It should have been called Instantboom because it explodes instantly. Referring back to my second sentence this is what Quickboom should have been in the beginning.

Originally in the beta it was said to have a shorter timer on it in the description, I don't know how they managed to mess that up.

Hmm but then quickboom will be rather underpowered in my opinion. I don't use quickboom and sometimes get annoyed by getting killed by it, but I feel it should stay where it is. It still requires a certain level of skill to pull off and it rewards players who knows the granade spots of every map well. Just my opinion...

Quickboom is better than the hammer and costs less medals to get. The game would be better off without it. Giving someone a grenade that explodes instantly when daredevil level 2 exists is psychotic.

Not to difficult go into a hotzone and pitch a grenade in your enemies direction, get a kill, taunt, get a kill, taunt, and your racking up medals the entire time.

Its like all the ROF modes, such things should´ve never be in the game.
