UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception - Technical Issues

I struggled to go through the game on hard because sometimes the PS3 would turn off before I could get to a new checkpoint.

I think it is completely unacceptable that neither Naughty Dog nor Sony could come up with a solution after all these months. If I lived in the USA, I most certainly would have already sued them both by now.

My Phat PS3 60gb backwards compatible starting acting up too! not to shut down but to freeze when trying to play online.. it freezes either at the connecting.. screen, after choosing a map to play on, or when i get to play a game it freezes after the match is over.. i noticed i started experiencing this after i watched one of my cinema files that i wanted to review after blowing up the helicopter during a syria TDM game, i played it in slow motion as i grabbed the rpg and blew up the helicopter, my ps3 froze then and it has been ever since... i have to force a shutdown twice for it to work for maybe a few matches.

one more new member(myself) is added to this auto shutdown of ps3 ....n it happens only while playing uc3...it started 15 days back...almost have played last 6 months exclusively uc3...but nw cant play even half n hr...plzzzzz ND OR SONY DO SUMTHING

The Last of Us seems great, but I don't think I'll get it. I just can't support a company that does not treat their customers with respect.

I installed the last update of Uncharted 3 ... Also I updated my PS3 (old version) to the last firmware, and... I STILL HAVE THE ISSUE!!! I cant play UC3 for more that 10 min!! HELP !!!!!!!!!

I just started the game and now have the yellow light of death. Now I have to send my system back to Sony in order to get the original phat model back ( I like the memory slot ports, urb ports and backwards compatibility), but worry the refurbished one the send me will just screw up again with this game....

Amazing. I tought i was the only one with this issue. This is surely a problem with the game. It is not YLOD. I'm playing BF3, Dead Island, FIFA 12 and Max Payne 3 for hours and nothing happens. But I cant play 10 minutes of Uncharted 3.

You are disrespecting us, Naughty Dog. Buying "Last of Us"? Yeah, right.

This is very much STILL a problem.  I am also an owner of a 2nd gen 80gb PS3 (fat) and this game completely bricks my machine.  It only happens on UNCHARTED 3.  Do you have this model of PS3 in your test lab?  Doubtful as I haven't seen any updates on either side PS3 or Naughty Dog to address this problem.

Im i late to join the party?, i got the game last week, only started playing it today having same problem ps3 60gb model launch console other game work fine just turn it self off with red light, going to get rid of these game before it does more damage to my console
