UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception - Multiplayer General

Yesterday it was working just fine, but today its keeps freezing at the message of the day. I can scroll the msg up and down but as soon as I press "O" it freezes with just patch no. Cant even use the XMB.. **bleep** is this ****? Tried with another account, still its the same .

Anyone else having the same issue? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Is your disc clean?

Delete Game Data (not the patch game data) and try again.

Reinstall the online pass and other knick-knacks you got.

@Ferrari_1996 yeah its as clean as new but I still cleaned it with a soft cloth. Didnt help.

@TheStuntDouble Thanks for the reply but that would be a pain in the -- to redownload all the dlc as my internet is not that fast. Also I read on similiar threads that deleting gamedata doesnt help, I wonder if there even is a solution.

Maybe the new patch or a new message of the day would solve the issue? If it doesnt I will then delete the gamedata and see.

Yes, the same thing happened to me and when i finally logged on I was rest to zero.  All items, treasures, trophy progress, and stats returned to zero.  I sent a letter to ND, hopefully they can fix this.

@James... so.. how did you log back in? you did something to solve the issue or it just let you log in itself? If its the latter how long it took before it was solved?

I had that exact problem the other day...on my third attempt,i removed the disc,cleaned it and worked fine!i guess u should try the same..good luck

The same thing has happened to me a few times. Never twice in a row though.

Try to rebuild your database in recovery mode: http://www.ps3blog.net/2011/01/28/tips-and-tricks-ps3-rebuild-database-faq-recovery-menu/ this helped me out when i had this problem, until it came back again thats when i noticed it was my disc cus i tried it on a friends PS3 and was also freezing, not even campaign mode was loading.

Ok.. I did that and its still not working. I doubt its the disk because it is clean and the single player campaign is running just fine. The message of the day popup is glitching for me, because as soon as i press "continue", everything freezes. 

Also tried UC2 mp its working fine. I will just wait for a few weeks and see if it goes away itself with time (or when the msg of the day changes or a new patch) because reading other threads kind of tells that deleting gamedata isnt the solution either.
