Anyone else feel like ND went a little overboard? Granted, these are initial impressions to something I read about 10 minutes ago; but I feel like the multiplayer is no longer "grounded."
Now you can teleport across the map, taunt for ammo, spawn a rocket launcher into your hands, etc. It feels like so much will be going on that the multiplayer will have a more arcade vibe than anything.
I guess I'll have to wait until the beta to find out for myself. Everything else seems awesome though.
you know I've only really just got my head around the finer poiints of UC2 MP - and there weren't that many of them either since it was a very basic game lol...! I'm sort of thinking along the same lines as you that maybe this all seems too much and is overcluttering the experience.... lost some of the purity maybe...? feels more gimmicky for sure.
teleporting.... instant RPGs boosters... are these the new SA's of UC3....?
BUT I am def reserving judgement until I play the game for real and get used to it. overall it looks really amazing but I'm not yet convinced by a few of the new features at the moment.... time will tell and I cannot wait to give it a whirl!!!

They were in a couple of video interviews.
Smoke bomb for teleporting away from combat.
Taunting a body using a booster can give you ammo or a gernade or both.
Spawning an RPG is one of the Medal Kickacks I believe.
Teleporting with the smoke bomb, spawn next to your friend. Can't wait to get my hands on this beta!!!!
