I think already almost everyone on the forum has given it a kudo, 87 kudoes is a lot, it took 50 kudoes (Hielke's Revenge thread) to make Naughty Dog do something about Revenge (although they didn't do the right thing, but at least they tried...) so I find it so pathetic that Eric says blindfire is not a widespread problem while he thinks Revenge was a widespread problem... it makes no sense at all...

the stage thread got something like 200+ kudos in the space of a few days and that wasnt even important - just goes to show how a lota people dont know what is important anymore.

could be, but there are a few reasons why this is different:
- the stage thread is about adding something without sacrificing something else, there are people who don't want this game to be changed anymore so they aren't kudoing a thread about nerfing blindfire
- there are less people on the forums I think (like someone else pointed out)
- I am not a famous user, I don't know if the poster of the stage thread was, but famous users get a lot of kudoes even though their post was not worth kudoing at all
- I posted a huge wall of text, people don't kudo sometimes because there might be something in the wall of text they disagree with, and they don't want to read the whole wall of text, so they just leave a post that they agree with nerfing blindfire and leave again
