ND still hasn't addressed Rage Quitting - ND Responds!

Hard to believe that this issue remains after so many updates. A simple solution would put an end to it

I don't see enough post on it thus ND overlooking it, hopefully we can bring it to their attention.

My Idea

Similar to UNC2 just a little more punishing : ()

1. First quit 30sec delay plus 50k Penalty

2. Second quit 60sec delay plus 100k Penalty

3. Third quit 120sec delay plus 500k Penalty

4. Forth quit 240sec delay plus 1M  Penalty

It will waste TIME + MONEY

Not a good combination!

What do you guyz think?

Penalties won't fix the problem, honestly; you've gotta go to the source. People quit to inflate their stats. Take care of that issue and it'll be resolved.

We have late-join to fill in the lost players, so flat-out preventing people from leaving isn't really necessary. If all match-earned statistics factor in, quitting will be pointless. Beyond that, people will just have to decide if they want to stay or not.

It's pretty disturbing to me though that this has been a problem since day one, and Naughty Dog has yet to even comment on it, despite all our efforts to bring it to their attention. I suppose it's not a "game-breaking flaw" or anything, but still. It's pretty bad.

Sorry to say they're too busy worrying about gun tweaks than such important issues as this.

And to me it IS a game breaking floor. I may have said this on another post but forgive me it's relevant.

I was in the lobby the other day and a couple of 75*s (-friends) with there stats all bright and shiny and ridiculous. Plus there was another couple of guys with good stats but more solid than sparkling.  Am not a religious man but if I would I would have preyed to get the non 75*s because as suspected I got lumbered with them and they didn't get past the first 2 minutes.

From a bright early start to the game, I was left alone and though I did ok, the guys who joined weren't much help and we lost comfortably to the guys with the honest looking stats.

To me that's more game breaking than whether a gun is OP or not.

I hate that people have to look at quits just to get an idea of how much they cheat their stats. I didn't even know that coop counted so i have like 300 quits from back when everyone picked easy and normal. :/ I havent had many actual ragequits, and if stats from quits counted, my kdr/wlr wouldnt be any different. I just wish they would get rid of their system so people would stop calling me trash for my kdr not being perfect.

You have a good point however, its better I think when you locked in the match because everyone is going to try harder. Also after you spend 10m killing someone and than they walk away clean 1 minute before the match ends its frustrating.

I favour showing quits, but I sympathise with your point. Quits for co-op dificulty level is a perfectly legitimate reason for leaving. Those games can take half hour sometimes so an escape route at the lobby should be given maybe?

Didn't realise the co-op quits showed up in your quits stats...Have played my last co-op with randoms knowing that!

ND will never adjust/address/fix the quitting issue.

You heard it here.

No penalties, just make stats count if you quit, that's all they have to do.
