UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception - Technical Issues

I've recently started getting this error when I try to boot up online multiplayer/co-op: A dialogue box opos up that says "A network error has occured. Failed to download config file." Then it kicks me back out to the menu screen.

The first time this happened, I deleted all the local game files - patch included - reinstalled everything and it ran fine. Then a couple days later it happened again. So once again, I deleted everything, reinstalled, and this time it didn't work. Now it seems to be random, whether it ends up loading or not. I'll get to play, quit, come back the next day, and I'll get that error message again. So I'll delete everything and redownlaod everything - sometimes this makes it work, sometimes it doesn't.

I have noticed that, when I'm going to get the error message, the loading screen with the spinning ring seems to appear for longer than normal. And one time I tried single player to see if that was affected, and partway through the first mission the game just quit on me - sent me right back to the XMB. Haven't tried it since, but have played multiplayer since a couple times.

Never had this problem before about two weeks ago. Anyone have any ideas?
