Dear ND,

If you have been reading the forums lately, you may have noticed that U4 is a pretty hot topic around here. I was wondering if you actually have plans for another Uncharted game. It would seem to be a logical move to make one of the first games for the PS4, but I'm looking for official word.

You won't get any official word from them before Sony announces the PS4, they will announce it after The Last Of Us comes out. I'm quite sure of that.

its obviously coming next gen most likely a year after the PS4 launches similar to the first Uncharted they will probably mention it at E3 or the VGA.

But what I'm getting at is that ND may not even be planning another Uncharted game. It would make sense, but they still might cap it at 3 games.

It would be stupid to abandon Uncharted. It's the flagship franchise of the PlayStation ecosystem.

Maybe but they are probably under a Non-Disclosure Agreement so they pretty much aren't allowed to talk about what they are working on aside from what is announced.

Remember before The Last of Us was announce? They had a pretty tight NDA, an NDA so strong that they basically did not even reply to any forum thread or to anyone in particular until it was finally announced.

Last I heard talks were still going regarding an Uncharted movie...

I highly doubt that there would be a movie coming without a new Uncharted game to market along with it.

Sounds like the movie is still a couple years away...So ND has plenty of time to do a 4th Uncharted game for the PS4.
