Honestly, sprint is not broken, never was and most likely never will be, I haven't heard a single person on multiplayer say " sprinting is so broken and should be fixed(etc.)"All it does is allow you to run faster and not shoot . WHich gives you the opportunity of killing that person. Also what do you mean by they broke it, I don't even remember this problem being mentioned in any of the patch notes(probably why it's not necessary to be there)
I take it you didn't play the summer beta?
I am the one who knocks.
sadly had no internet that year
It had a tad bit more speed, but you had less turning control. I don't really care myself, but it's another thing everyone likes to believe was perfect and ND f'd them over with new sprint. I don't really think it's all the game changing/breaking. I use it to get around, and if someone else is sprinting I shoot them. That is how it was in the summer beta, thats how it is now.
Clicky clicky dis link to be scarred for life (Updated with more poison for your eyes!)
Seriously if everyone's going to sprint around why not make it default speed?
Yeah let's all just have permanent speedy g.
Saves up on broken L3/R3 buttons (depending on where you put it) and you don't lose anything because, guess what? Nobody doesn't sprint.
I wouldn't wanna walk at that speed the whole time... especially on maps like City of Brass. There were plenty of times where I just sprinted off the map or had poor direction mapping into walls and corners...
Even in Highrise.
Because I practicaly never fall. Mhm
Even if it isn't as much as in the beta, Sprint still lowers your mobility a tiny bit and you run off ledges a lot easier than regular walking. Instand death ones you still grab on I know, but if you run at an awkward angle, you zoom right off the map, this happened to me on chataeu, yemen, city of brass, surprisingly not highrise since I'm subconciously extra careful there, and pretty much any map.
And the ones that don't have death holes I still manage to sprint off ledges without meaning to sometimes and it just messes up my pathing, like falling into gaps, falling onto ledges I don't want to, losing my vantage point and so on.
In other words...there are plenty of times I don't sprint for those reasons, no way I want it as the deafult run speed.
