Do Stopping Power Items Work?

20 replies 692 views Edited Sep 30, 2012

Do items like Prakoso's Skull Chaain and Drake's Elf Ears work? I have the skull chain, but it seems like a total placebo effect with my AK. I made a new topic instead of going to the quick question thread because there may be more items like skin and bones found that don't work. I'm unsure how to test stopping power too, as it seems inconsistent.

I think the changes are so tiny that it's unnoticeable, but it's there.

The AK is the gun that has the most stopping power in the game, try using an M9 (not RoF, please.).

Who knows! Stopping power is pretty much non existent anyway. I use eddie's ak nowadays and I still can be aiming at someone put round after round in there chest, just fire them to hip fire with m9 and warp melee me.

It makes a very slight difference but not enough to be noticable though.

If you think something is impossible, you’ll make it impossible.

It's there but the lag would just make them gravitate to me and do a magical 2-in-1 melee hit.

Ah. But at least you see them punch you, although floating.

I have to face suddenly getting tealthkilled by some invisible guy who was initally next to the guy I'm shooting. His character did the flash-running-warp thing, snapped my neck after I died, and then ran off.

We all know that the AK has the most, but what about the second one? I want to have that, because I'm worried about all the Flynn's M9 going around there, because they're not thinking about aiming me and this would seriously give me a advantage. I want to use Chloe's M9, but I'm not sure about its effectivness in those situations.

FAL or ROF M9.

With the FAL I suggest 3-D Glasses and with the M9 I suggest Bird's Nest.
