I asked TheIndianGuy and Eugenides for their lastest episode of Would You Rather (14:35 - 15:50) whether they would use the Tau or aim the KAL and they both said that they would rather aim the KAL.
Such a pitiful state the Tau is in...
Well the Kal is a long gun so of course it's better than a hand gun. Also aiming the Kal can actually work very well. Ramses Kal7 aimed is very good aiming close up, and can be used competetively if you have the aim for it.
Well what do you know, Rameses's Kal is my Kal of choice for aiming as well. I aim the Kal myself a lot, and while I have gotten good enough with it to go positive on most matches against decent players, trying to play "competitively" with it might be stretching it. I aim the Kal just to **bleep** people off and attempt to get "best play" material with it.
But remember that the Kal was meant for blindfire, not proper aiming. The point of my post was that the Tau is so bad, that it can't even beat someone that's using the Kal the wrong way.
Just wondering... How many of you would be willing to play a Tau only Lab, with the Tau unchanged? I ask as I believe it could be the best Lab to date if it was made, (no aim assist, hard to blindfire etc).
I've already suggested this so it's an obvious yes from me. I've played Tau only customs and they're quite fun.
I'm going to challenge myself here
KAL/Tau Sniper/Militia Man and try to go for a rampant
Good luck. And just like I told Venom, you'll need Daredevil since both of those guns eat through ammo quickly.
Went like 11-8 on City of Brass today with
Medal Kickback: QB
I'm pretty happy of how the Tau Sniper is. After getting the ammo buff it makes the gun ever better.
The Tau Sniper is not meant to be a primary weapon, it works great with the Dragon Sniper and Weapon Expert.
Kinda OP if you ask me.
I have been loving Chloe' TAU with my KAL7 loaout.
But why are they reducing the ammo so drastically? Its gonna go back to be useless, I fear.
Eh, I use Daredevil with the Tau even now so it shouldn't that big of a deal. And if the Tau is more effective at killing, you won't waste as much ammo. At least in theory.
