I think the mods are just lazy for not wanting to ban the tag system abusers. Meh.
There was too much Trolling with Tags, so I can understand why they got removed.
It would be great if they could return like this:
- adding Tags can only VIP Forumers and Mods
- Using tags, by see and klick it everyone could use
It would solve the trolling and still offer the feature for usefull help for everyone.

And for once, I agree with Aureilia. The tagging feature was being used to put down other people more than actually making posts easier to find (like ND replies), and the situation had gotten so out-of-hand that the moderators simply had to nuke the tagging system from orbit.
Oh, and banning the people who used the tags this way? Does that mean no more thel- *cough* You-Know-Who? 
I am so glad they're gone...
Just like some people said above, tags were not used the way it's supposed to, people just kept spamming their opinions on the post by using tags instead of replying.
Which is a shame, and a childish act, it's like a little kid who ate too much candy and now their parents took it away from her...
