You know that the Germans actually led an an expedition to Tibet in 1938-39?

Led by "german zoologist and SS officer Ernst Schäfer". Here he is:

And I'm sorry I'm quoting wikipedia:  Wikipedia

I can belive you found this, and i know games take stuff from real life and twist them (ex: AC2 sais all religon were in power by peace of eaden) but this is pretty sick, :smileyvery-happy: i never whould  of thought that the expadition was real, but in the game they give it a twist. Nice job!:smileywink:

Yeah, I think it makes games more fun if you know someone actually did this "for real" and that it's not only you who climb mountains on your PS3... :smileytongue:

It's another factor that causes you to realize how great Uncharted's storytelling technique is. Not only to they create an intricate, interesting story with exciting progression and likable characters, they construct their stories around certain historical mysteries, such as Marco Polo's lost fleet or the fate of Francis Drake's party. These games are works of art.

His name is just a German (or any of the surrounding countries) name, but as he is from the SS then he is/was a nazi.
