My brother got this for christmas a while ago, and I decided I'd give it a whirl. I'm kind of totally terrible, and I was wasn't terribly surprised when I couldn't find any online games considering how pricey it is. I was just wondering if maybe it's my connection... or if people are actually out there playing somewhere.

No, the game is just terrible.  No one's on cause no one wants to play that atrocity of a TH game.
