Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas (PS3)

Hi. I'm thinking buying this game for PS3 in Playstation Network. I know that is a bit older, but i saw a few videos on youtube and i did like what i saw. But i'm afraid that there's no players still nowadays playing this. Please if possible, tell me something.

I believe the R6V2 online servers are still up buddy. So try to check on online multiplayer, co-op campaign, or co-op terroist hunt just to be sure there are players online. That's all I know so far.

is there any confirmation on if the servers are still up?  don't want to buy it on spring fever and find out no online support.

The servers are still up, but I think it will be difficult to find a decently sized community to sustain long-term online gameplay. I'm sure there are a few stragglers that still play it though.

I still play and so do some of my friends we like the tactacle feel of it over the run-&-gun of the Call Of Duty series. Also Rainbow Six Patriots will be released after the developers get the story written for the game, all the functions and graphics are done.

I have a couple of friends that still play it. It's a great game with the OPFOR saying some great one liners, it's very entertaining.

I used to play all the time. It was my favorite online shooter. I loved getting together with friends and playing some terrorist hunt together. Then the latest update reset my stats from Elite 2 to private and took away all my favorite guns and camo. Now I am just too pi$$ed at it to play anymore. I don't have the time to grind my stats up and get everything back. Thanks Ubisoft, Sony, or whoever ruined the game for me.

Lots of People sill playing, all modes have rooms available most of the time.
