The matchmaking in TLOU isn't just bad, it's the polor opposite of what it's supposed to be. It's as if they made a fundamental error, and instead of saying "balance teams", their programming finger slipped and actually inputted "create two teams as far from each others' levels as possible".
It really is THAT bad. Not just rarely, but very, very commonly. Weird it could be so messed up and not patched 2 months on.
One go with the hunting rifle told me that it was generally too slow and took too many hits to be effective considering the size and cluttered nature of most of the maps. Any range advantage is really negated as most other weapons on the maps can reach the same distance.
Yeah, the matchmaking on randoms is comical.
Matches in general are far closer in no parties than with a po3 or po4, where my team invariably annihilates people.
^^This... Whats all the hype about teaming up? games become soo easy and boring its comical at times.. I am strictly hitting no party mode at least you end up with some close matches keeps the game interesting.
I was also paired with 3 player under level 10 and the other team where all 60+.
Truth is on my main i would have wrecked them, but i wouldn't deviate from my experiment. With that acct im pulling 260 ppm with a kdr of 1.5 and on my main 2.9. I kept their names in hopes to see them again lol.
