Okay... sweet. It's just that I really hate health bars Anyway- your answer makes sense.
Kudos for seeing sense
Why don't you guys, take away the health bar for The Last of Us. Make it like Uncharted, where the world's color's drains around you?
Yea, this is a GREAT idea!
And in the long run, let's just ask ND to make this game exactly like Uncharted! Because since ND made Uncharted, every game they make obviously has to be like Uncharted. It makes perfect sense!
Look at The Getaway on PS2. They didn't have a health bar at all, which made it more realistic
It's only a health bar though... nothing too serious.
Tbh, some of my favorite games are the complete opposite of realistic. Just sayin.
I agree that the health system is the right thing to do, but couldn't a more creative and/or realistic way of showing his health be used? Maybe something in the way he looks/moves/sounds can change depending on how hurt he is.
I just would prefer it if there were no GUI elements
I can see where you're coming from, but if you're having to play with low health for a long time those kinds of indicators could get annoying and make you feel a little hampered gameplay-wise right when you need to be playing at your best.
