Bricks and other solid throwable (non explosive) objects for me.. Imma be **bleep** if ellie picks up all the bricks and throws it to someone before i can. lol.
For the guns, Bolt action rifle seems fun especially if the reload animation is like this:

Revolvers are just too cool. Playing RDR just made it even more so. Plus, Rick Grimes likes revolvers too. I'll have fun messing people up with my six-shooter in MP and in the SP.
Excellent point. I'd like to change subject for a second. In a RDR it wasn't just the amazing feel of the guns when you shot and the impact with there incredible ragdoll and physics but also the holes they left. You could see it go out the other end of the wound. And when you shot them in the head it left a brutal rip. The last of us SEEMS to be taking the same realistic grisly look. Like when he shot the clicker and bandits in the head. Well, the clickers head got blown off but the bandit head went straight through. But in the first trailer with the guy with the guy running to cover got shot in the leg and chest, there were no wounds. Will there be more in the full game? I would think so, in this trailer at look 1:37 what the shotty does to his back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd
I'm pretty sure that gameplay is Alpha. So, yeah it will be hella more polished in the full version. And that scene your referring to with the infected. I saw blood, so are you talking about the deatil of the blood/wound? Keep in mind this Alpha, so it is un-finished.
Again, on this same point. If you look at the textures in some of the gameplay trailers they are really low-rez. It's just because they're main focus is to make the game function smoothly and exactly to their liking. Smaller details like wounds and background textures will be fixed up about now. Especially during May to June. They delayed it specifically to polish the game.
