Also, giving supplies from yourself to the Supply Chest Thingy can be time consuming. You are using a good strategy when emptying the supply pack to yourself, but a very risky one-if you die all contents of the pack will disappear save for 2 ammo or 1 food (which enemies get when they loot you) it is much easier to just carry the pack, but has a GPS attached so they can easily see you on the map or something making you much more obvious. Also, the pack can be picked up after death with all supplies still inside.
Crates have 2 supply packs inside them. They must be broken to access supply packs inside
Btw, if perks or booster type things are added here are some ideas for them:
Crate carrier: slowly carry a crate to your base
Smuggler: when standing near enemy supply box you slowly transfer their supplies to your supply box 1 per 15 secs
Crafter: can create Weapons Via crafting thing in corner of base
Scavenger: gain 1 more ammo per 2 looted bodies
Survival Guide: have 1 food at each spawn
Agile: access few places that aren't normally accessible i.e. roof of gas station
Blank Firer: 1 ammo of yours (that was scavenged) is a blank/isn't real
Bad Food: Food scavenged from you is poisoned/ uneatable/ lose health rather than gaining it
I can only see this being co-op/mission based MP. There aren't much bullets and resources in their world. Suddenly a TDM or surviving waves of The Infected (which honestly, survival rounds against The Infected sounds kind of awesome... maybe if you were playing as some sort of military team fighting them) wouldn't make sense or fit.
