Does anyone know if it's possible to use an after market controller to play The Last of Us? I have a wired after market controller for my PS3 and it's worked great on every other game but it's not six axis or dual shock or what have you. I saw something that said you have to shake the controller to power the flashlight. If this controller works on every other part of TLoU, I could spend more time looking for batteries if that's the only way to recharge the batteries. If it's not pitch black dark, I could even just skip using the flashlight altogether. I prefer to go it without the flashlight anyway. It feels more real to me that way. What do you think?
I ran into the same problem when playing the demo. I use an after market 360 controller. The game really does convey darkness realistically. It gets almost pitch black when there's no natural light. I guess we'll have to really keep an eye out for batteries.
