My opinions for Multiplayer, other good ideas welcome! HI NDi! Boosters Confirmed.

My Ideas/Opinions for TLOU multiplayer

Weapons:

 

Ammunition:

I think there should be a VERY VERY LIMITED amount of ammunition for the guns (and bow). Maybe find it rarely by searching by exploring, but each spawn point is different for it. Or even have random dead bodies lying around and you can loot it from them (or supplies to create items)--> Ammo.png

I think the guns should be very basic like the E3 gameplays, no AK47, RPGs, Hammer etc. lying around.

Just this

 

Long guns:

Shotgun shotty.png

 

Rifle:shotty.png I'm guessing this is more like a hunting rifle not like automatic weapons, like the T-Bolt from Uncharted.

Objects/Items:

There should be more of these lying around instead of actual Guns.

 

Brick: Untitled.pngYou can throw this from a mid range distance, when you throw it, it break, Have an arch where you are

going to throw it, like throwing a Molotov Cocktail or bash somebodies head in with it, hit somebody three times or somethingshotty.png

 

Bottle:Untitled.png you can throw this like a brick, but it is also used to make a Molotov Cocktail, and possible any other item ND thinks of

 

Plank/Piece of wood:shotty.pngJust have these lying around like bricks maybe after like 2 or 3 times hitting somebody with it, it breaks 

 

Pipes: Untitled.png Have these on some walls and you can just rip it off Pipe.jpg 2 or 3 times hitting somebody with it, until its bent out of shape. 

 

 

Blades:

  Untitled.png Have these lying around but NOT AS COMMON as Bricks, Pipes, etc.

 

Switchblade: Untitled.png, maybe have it a one time use weapon, when u stab somebody it gets stuck in their leg, or arm or wherever you are able to stab them while you play. Or silently assisinate somebody when they are unaware.

 

Machete:  Untitled.png make it the same as the switchblade but a bit more powerful HARDER TO FIND (WITH DIFFERENT SPAWN POINTS EACH TIME)

 

ALL WEAPONS SHOULD HAVE DIFFERENT SPAWN POINTS EACH TIME. Stronger weapons should have a low spawn rate as well, weaker ones spawn only a little bit more and so on.

 

 

 Creatable Weapons:

Well so far in the trailer they showed us Joel creating a Molotov Cocktail to throw, but maybe in the multiplayer the could have players scavenge for certain supplies, to create certain items that will help them in the Multiplayer. gameplay.

 

Explosives:

Show far they should us Joel creating a Molotov Cocktail to be used as a type of explosive, hopefully later on they will showed other types of explosives in the game. Please ND NO GRENADES  this is a survival horror games not a game like Uncharted or COD so please don't put random grenades lying around, make us make our explosives Smiley Happy

Gas Mask: random.pngpossibly used some way in the multiplayer, for example if they have smoke bombs, use the gas mask to improve your vision in the fog of the smoke bomb.

 

Loadouts:

PLEASE ND NO LOADOUTS, make us start with our bare hands, more stealthy. Let us work up to find weapons.

 

 Hand to Hand Combat/Weapon Combat/Stealth:

Hand to Hand Combat:

I think ND should have a sequence of buttons Untitled.pngto press, or whoever presses certain buttons the fastest wins the fight, something like that.

 

Weapon Combat:

Simply press a button to swing your knife or w/e weapon you have in your hand. But I think if somebody else has the same weapon as you I think they should make them clash, like when people sword fight, that'd be a cool aspect in the game.

 

Stealth:

Simply get behind somebody and press a button to choke somebody. But I think they should let the person getting choked to have a chance to get out of the choke, by RAPIDLY pressing Circle or w/e button they assign on the PS3 controller faster than the other player trying to choke you out. And ND MAKE US ALL HAVE CLOAKED ON, like when you get near somebody don't show your indcator near them it'd be more of a CHALLENGE AND STEALTHY for the opposing team not to see your indicator while near them, but still show your own teams indicator.

 

NO Perks/Kickbacks:

NONE!! PLEASE ND DONT PUT ANY,   do not make it where as whoever has the better perk wins the fight.

 

NO Powerplays:

NO JUST NO!! ND please do not put any powerplays or anything similar to a powerplay please.

 

CO-OP:

YES JUST YES! ND you MUST put Co-op. Please have more people able to play instead of 3 add at least 4 people to play.

 

Co-op Objective:

Make this like the story mode, but you and 4 other people start off at one area but finish somewhere else if they get through the enemies successfully.

 

Maps:

ND please make the maps BIG BUT NOT GIGANTICwhereas we can hide and explore but not get lost xD.

Characters/Skins:

A big aspect that was missed in Uncharted 3.

 

****Customizable Hero & Villain Characters:

PLEASE ND MORE CUSTOMIZE OPTIONS IN THE LAST OF US, like having us choosing our skin color, our hair, our eyes, OUR GENDER (FEMALES!!). And mix and match clothing, like for example you have a custom villian/scavenger/w.e ND is gonna call them, put any of scavengers clothes onto your custom villian like diff. shirts, jeans, shoes, hats, etc., and if your a hero you can but on Joel's & Bills clothes or other clothes you lets us choose from. AND A COLOR HUE, ANY COLOR YOU WANT.

 

Hero's/Survivalists:

Please have accessories and a COLOR HUE for them too.

Ellie:Ellieicon.pngOn a side note we may not see Ellie in the multiplayer because Minors/Kids cannot be shown getting shot in games, so I kind of doubt she will be available as a character. Yes there are people out there who will COMPLAIN and say BLAH BLAH it displays the wrong messages to Kids, THEN DONT LET YOUR KID PLAY. But maybe they will allow it in a "M" rated games, who knows >.<

 Competitive Modes:

 

Survive/Elimination:

A mode where you just have one life, and one Round.

 

Infected:

A mode where one person is a BUFFED UP INFECTED and he tries to infect other people until there is one man standing. If the people survive the longest without getting infected they get rewarded. If the infected win, the first infected gets rewarded. 1 life, only able to be infected.

 

 Capture the Supplies/Flag:

A mode where you have to collect supplies and bring it back to your base who have has the most when the time is up WINS.

People can also steal supplies from other peoples bases. 1 life as well.

 

CUSTOM GAME:

Make this like Uncharteds custom but BRING BACK MACHINIMA MODE, a lot of people missed it in Uncharted 3 so I would like to see it return in TLOU.

 

Matchmaking or Game Lobby?:

I prefer either, but some people prefer one over the other

 

Healthpacks/Healing:

So TLOU now has a ---> 1000px-Tloumolotovcraft.png I'd prefer there'd be a way to heal yourself in sticky situations, by creating items or finding certain things that will heal your wounds around the map.

 

UPDATE PAX  (E3 Extended Demo) 9/6/12     

 

Bandages:Untitled2.png in MP they should have this hidden in places, like how the E3 extended demo showed a bandage inside a dresser, or in other places ND decides to put it

 

 

Buddy System:

Idc if they bring this back or not it'd be cool if they did though, no indicator arrows

 

GRAPHICS:

Please ND DONT MAKE THE GRAPHICS WORSE FROM THE CAMPAIGN IN THE MP LIKE YOU DID IN UNCHARTED 3. Take your time on EVERYTHING ND make your MP visuals just a great as the campaign like you did in Uncharted 2 Smiley Happy

 

 

UPDATE PAX  (E3 Extended Demo) 9/6/12

Busy Bar:

On the E3 Extended Demo it showed thisUntitled 2.pngI call it the busy bar because this comes up when Joel was putting on a bandage, I strongly agree they add this in MP, for example if they integrate creating items in the MP, they should have this bar but it takes longer to fill up than putting on a bandage.

 

Interactable Items:

 Untitled 4.png ND now showed us we can move beds & ladders & possibly more items later, I think if ND added this it would be a really cool aspect of MP gameplay. They should also have this when searching for items, and bandages in MP possibly, like they showed in the demo as well.

UPDATE IGN Boosters Pre-Order items 12/9/12

The thing that really concerns me is Boosters, which reminds most of us of Uncharted I wonder how that is going to be, I still hope there isn't any loadouts but "Multiplayer Melee Attack Booster" says there is. I just hope it doesn't become an "Uncharted" like multiplayer knockoff.

 

Other GREAT IDEAS:

  • Don't be like Uncharted 3 Multiplayer
  • Fresh new, suspensful multplayer experience
  • Don't put every single unlockable/voucher code item in the Playstation Store make us earn them
  • No Legacys/Prestiges, just regular LEVELING UP
  • No Taunts
  • Cinema Mode
  • NO POWERUPS at ALL
  • No indicator arrows, so it makes GP more realistic and stealthy
  • No lock on
  • Bring back Playstation Heroes DLC (possibly)
  • Have something like Fortune Hunters Club, like Survivalist Club or something
  • Better Clan System (or call it like Survival Team or something like that), stats, clan messages, etc.

 

Gimme your suggestions, what do you guys think? I'll try to update this thread as much as I can Smiley Wink

I like most of your ideas, because you've stripped it down to pure survival with the kinds of weaponry you've named. None of this all guns blazing" stuff .

I think all modes should only give you one life though, not just a special Elimination mode. Being able to respawn kind of detracts from the whole 'survival' aspect and removes the fear of dying.

I agree with calcunnon I like the survival aspects of your ideas, and hope they add Nathan Drake as an extra skin it wouldn't make sense if they didn't +Kudo Smiley Happy

Damitsgood. I actually think (I never thought I would say this) that this game should have low health, due to the low ammo and the realism.

How about an Co-op mode out of the main campaign ?? Like Spec Ops from Call of Duty or just an survival mode, this need at least one co-op mode =D

Yeah I was thinking that for Co-op, they should do like a Co-op objective/adventure like Uncharted 3 & 2, they took maps from the Campaign and put it in a Co-op adventure story type of thing. I posted it up there already, I would never forget about Co-op Smiley Happy
