I feel 30 FPS is not good for multiplayer games. You can notice it clearly in Uncharted 3 multiplayer after playing a 60 FPS game, like COD. You'll need a good FPS in MP to react quickly to others, so it would be really useful in MP. The campaign doesn't really need 60 FPS, since it probably won't be as fast paced, and it needs to have good graphics. So they should keep that at 30.
Obviously, they'll need to downgrade the graphics for this, but I feel it would be worth it. And the multiplayer's graphics are going to get old anyways, if we play it a lot.
So, who else agrees?

Yes it can... I know God of War 3 and Call of Duty games are 60 FPS.

I don't agree. There would have to be compromises inorder to achieve it. If the graphics have to take a hit inorder to do it then I would rather they stick to traditional 30fps.
Even CoD has problems with reaction and latency, even though it's locked in at 60fps.

Get a TV with 120hz motionflow. Problem solved.

That increases input lag.
@OP
It's technically impossible to have 2 different graphics engines for SP and MP.

Somehow not for me. I swear I don't experience any input lag on my TV when playing. Could be that it's a Sony TV that's optimized for co-operation with Ps3, I don't know

Do you use "game mode" or something like that?
