As we all saw the Infected have their face split open with the fungus so how do they see? The Infected woman from the VGA 2011 trailer obviously looked like she can see very well. I think some can see and others rely on a somewhat 6th sense where can can basically see by sounds. The second Infected that is seen running in the VGA trailer looks like he has eyes. You can tell by stopping the video at 1:28. So, how do you think ND makes them see? I am curious to hear everyone's thoughts.

What if humans didn't have eyes? We'd find out a way to see, right?

Think about it, that's how those zombies see, relying on the other senses, i bet their senses are way more advanced than ours(Ellie's and Joe's) because they actually use the **bleep** thing.

Aside from smell, which severla other people have mentioned, they could also have very acute hearing to determine if people/victims are near. And yes, they still have ears:

They click and make noises like a bat or a dolphin to navigate through terrain. Why do u think they click? Some what like a sonar

Hearing definitely plays a large role in their senses. Remember in the VGA trailer, the infected didn't come for Joel until he clocked his gun's hammer back - and the look on his face, seemed as if he knew that would happen.
