I agree! It's already a good game, but trophies will help the game's lasting appeal, there's a lot of possibilities for trophies like:
completing a mission with no sight jack
completing the secret tasks
collecting all weapons and archives
and whole lot more ^^
Siren: Blood Curse doesn't "need" trophies, it's an amazing game in itself - totally worth the $29.99 (sale) I put into it. But trophies would definitely give it some replay value. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome game, but after the first run-through of the game, I didn't feel too compelled to do it again. If it had trophies patched to it, I would dive back into it without hesitating. They don't even have to be grinding-type trophies (ex. Knockout 100 shibito), just trophies that are unlocked by story progression. A good one would be (and I don't know if this is even possible so correct me if I'm wrong):
- COP OUT (Silver Trophy): "Knockout the policeman shibito in the first level"
I would have to agree. If FlOw got a trophy patch, as old of a PSN game as it is, Siren should too.
I don't believe the age of a title determines whether or not it gets trophies. It's most likely based on sales and popularity. I don't believe Siren: Blood Curse did all that well.
If the age of a game isn't an issue and sales/popularity are what really counts, I can still hope MGS4, Resistance FoM, etc. will get trophy patches someday, right?
In all seriousness, the enabling of trophies in Siren may even sell a few extra copies.
