I've played and finished Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, and I liked it so much I want to buy the others... I was wondering if I buy and play Fatal Frame III, would I spoil the storyline for myself if I decide to play Fatal Frame I afterwards?
Should I get Fatal Frame I before buying Fatal Frame III?
Thanks so much (And if you were wondering why I bought Fatal Frame II before Fatal Frame I.. it's because someone told me to get it cuz it was the better one.)

In FF3, one of the characters you play as is the same character from FF1 an there is a reference to how FF1 ended but it doesn't go into detail about the 1st game. However, I don't think FF1 would be spoiled if you play FF3 first.
As for Clocktower - I have never played it so I wouldn't know what to tell you about that.

Howdy! I would play FATAL FRAME and then FATAL FRAME III, just because I think you would get more of what's going on, but you don't have to to in order to enjoy FATAL FRAME III. There are references to places in both FFI and FFII in FATAL FRAME III, so as I said, you would understand more of what's going on.
CLOCK TOWER 3 rocked! I would defintely get it, and also, SIREN - BLOOD CURSE, I'm on Chapter 9, and so far it's been pretty awesome ... 8 out of 10 is my score.

Also, I'd like to get Clock Tower... but is it any good? Are they any other games out there that are just as good as Fatal Frame?
Clock tower.. is like a cat and mouse game.. more than a horror game..
the enemy will chase you around.. you run. then hide.. they gone.. you go.. then they chase you again.. and it's the same thing over and over..
you can't kill the enemy until a certain point into the game (or at least it is in haunting ground)..
in this game.. expect to go 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.. ...
haunting ground is a a little better.. since you have a dog and the enemy will not chase you as often as in clock tower... but overall .. both games are just a hide and seek type of game.. (like the part where the girl in white kimono chase you around after you dropped your camera in Fatal frame 2).. .now imagine it's like that the whole game ..... that's basiclly what clock tower and haunting ground are..
**i'm referring to clock tower 3 though**

Thank you all for responding!
Yes, I was reading reviews on the game and FF3 is said to have the best story and fright out of the other two previous games. I was just really excited and wanted to get it quick. But I'll get FF1 first just so I can follow the story, and be able to recognize all characters should they suddenly show up in FF3.
And to Ktman, I don't really like hide and seek games. If what you say is true (about running from Sei towards the end and dropping my camera in the cave) then I'll avoid that type of game. It's better if there's an actual battle, otherwise I'd feel too safe, and I don't want that, lol. I prefer thrill.
So yes, I give you all acknowledgment and my thanks.
