For everyone that doesn't know Deadly Premonition is a quirky cult-hit survival horror game from Japan that was released only on the xbox 360 in the U.S. (although in Japan there's a ps3 and xbox version). But now a new "enhanced" version is making it's way stateside.
This is good news for fans of David Lynch and especially for fans of the show Twin Peaks. Deadly Premonition is kind of like the weird love-child of Alan Wake and Silent Hill and just flat out drips Twin Peaks. It's possibly one of the strangest, but most charming games I've played this console generation and it's coming back!! So excited. ^_^

If I had a nickel for every time someone recommended this video game to me...
I decided to order a copy of Deadly Premonition a little while ago (I honestly cannot wait to play it)…

Anyone knows if this is still a thing?

Don't mean to bump an old thread, but I figured it was better than creating a new one...
So "Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut" was supposed to come out today.
I pre-ordered it, went to my local GameStop this afternoon -- shipment was delayed (WTH!?)
The employee told me it "should" be there tomorrow.
After browsing some other game forums, I discovered others were reporting the same thing from their GameStops and/or Online Retailers. Did anyone here actually get their copy today?
I kind of just want confirmation that the game is in-fact out, and isn't getting pushed back. (the disc release; I see the digital release is available on PSN now.)
EDIT:
They recieved my pre-order the next day. The GameStop employee said "small" releases like this, they don't always get the game in on time.
