As you can see above I'd like to transfer my HD info from my old Fat PS3 to a new Slim is this possible without losing my game data? Or even possible period?

Yep, all you need to do is look up and follow the data transfer utility from the knowledge center/support at the bottom of this forum page; pretty much you are going to hook up your original ps3 to the slim ps3 by a network wire connection (when instructed to by the transfer utility).
You will want to perform a trophy synch before you start, make a back-up of the original ps3, in case something bad happens. You will also want to know that you need to deactivate the original ps3's video from the account managment area of the xmb in order for those videos you bought off the ps store to play on the new ps3 (you can leave them on your original ps3 if you are giving it to a family member you trust as a back-up in case your slim goes bad; unless they changed something since the last time I changed ps3's).
Just to clarify, the HDD on the SLIM has enough space to accept the amount of data you are transfering a la you upgraded the HDD originally to 500GB and then got a 160/320GB slim. You CAN NOT(!) take just take the HDD out of the old and put it into the new, so don't try that it will erase/ format when you put it in the new one.
