I will, I'm not giving up but the object of this thread is that a lot of players doesn't have patience.
If they get BR for the very first matches they will sell the game so don't "complain" about the player pool being low.
Other games have spawn camping but it's not a so strong tactic like here.
Add you some friends on here that will help you.Going in to a baseravage game is no fun,I run in to them and I can't always change it either...And I have also been the one ravaging too.
You can add me if you like..

For this game, I always warn new players to expect their first 10 to 15 hours online to be spend as cannon fodder or, at best, a meat shield. If you want to avoid base ravaging, I highly recommend you play zones, it's the game mode least likely to turn into on. Also, don't use quick match, you're better off choosing the server you join. That way you won't end up in a 40 min base ravage because the host set a 60 min / 1000pts TDM or 100 flags CTF.
As for the steep learning curve, difficult games are not for everyone. Just look at Demons' / Dark Souls, the main complaint about those games is that they're too hard. It's the same for Starhawk (it doesn't mean base ravaging in TDM / CTF is not a problem though).

The way to fix this is to have rookie servers, to have structures that never deplete, and to balance the gameplay once and for all. That would include killing engine mods.
If this were to happen along with old ctf coming back this game might have a chance. Might. As is this thing is a duck flying with a broken wing. There are simply too many noobs with no clue what to do but fight on the ground. Same thing happens in Warhawk and by that account this dev has no idea what they are doing.
Sorry to have to say it like it is. I had some faith with the new DLC and such but these issues I bring up have been brought up for almost a year now. They have fought tooth and nail to do things their way. And this is the outcome.
